Step 2: Vector Art
Digital printing allows for complex designs to be produced in small quantities and at affordable prices (no color or screen fees). For best results, only vector art is used as it does not pixelate or blur when imagery is reduced in size or enlarged. Vector art is created using software programs such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw.
Not sure if you have vector art? Try zooming in on the image and look to see if you still have crisp lines and no blur. Another indicator might be the program used or the file extension it is saved as (e.g. AI - Adobe Illustrator, EPS - Encapsulated Postscript, SVG - Scalable Vector Graphics, ID – InDesign, PLT - Plot File, etc.).
If you do not have vector art, please contact us via the Custom Flag Contact Form with the description or picture of the proposed imagery and we will provide an estimate for the vector artwork to be performed.
For an additional fee, a small sample can be ordered after the artwork is completed. Please contact us via the Custom Flag Contact Form for more information and pricing. We recommend purchasing a sample if you are ordering a large quantity or have strict color requirements (e.g. branding, company restrictions, etc.).
PANTONE® Color Chart
Use the PANTONE® Color Chart below to choose colors for your artwork and the flag. Please remember that colors may appear different on monitors. As such, this chart is intended as a reference guide only.
For true accuracy, we recommend using the Pantone Color Publication. FlagsOnline.com is not responsible for the variations on your computer screen.
